March 14 - Monthly TGC meeting. Brian Allnutt, Owner/Manager at Detroit Farm and Garden will present, "Dead Wood in the Garden".
March 16 - All entries for the 10th Annual Art Competition must be received by this date. For guidelines and additional information, visit the Garden Walk page.
April 11 - Monthly TGC meeting. Ron Olson, Chief, Parks and Recreation Div., DNR, State of Michigan will present, "Improving Quality of Life Through Parks and Urban Open Spaces".
April 18 - 9th Annual Daffodil Day on Belle Isle
May 9 - Monthly TGC meeting. Rebecca Tonietto, PhD, Assistant Professor of Biology at the University of Michigan-Flint will present, "Bees of the Detroit Region: Attracting and Recognizing Native Pollinators".
May 24 - Michigan Division WNF&GA Spring Council Meeting, Cherry Creek Golf Club. Click on the link to download the registration form; the reservation deadline is May 16.
June 6-10 - WNF&GA National Meeting, Ithaca, NY.
June 13 - Monthly TGC meeting. A video of the 2017 Garden Walk Remembered will play. This is a members-only meeting to prepare for the 2018 Garden Walk.
July 11 - TGC's 44th annual Garden Walk, "An Invitation to the Gardens"
September 12 - Monthly TGC meeting. Jenelle Jagmin, Promotion Specialist, Michigan Grape and Wine Industry Council, Michigan Dept. of Agriculture and Rural Development will present, "Michigan Women Winemakers".
October 10 - Monthly TGC meeting. Ed Blondin, Owner, Hortulus Gardens will present, "Witches-Wonderful to Wicked to Wonderful".
November 14 - Monthly TGC meeting. Matthew Bertrand, NPS Program Coordinator, Friends of the Rouge will present, "Rain Gardens: How to Make Your Gardens Look Great, Solve Problems, and Save Rivers".
December 12 - Monthly TGC meeting. The Troy High School Concert Choir with Director Adrienne Covian will lead, "A Holiday Celebration". This is a members-only meeting and member recognition ceremony.
