January 9 - Monthly TGC meeting.  Lisa Steinkopf, The Houseplant Guru, will present, "Some Favorite Gardens Featured in the Michigan Gardener Magazine".

February 13 - Monthly TGC meeting.  George Papadelis, Owner/Operator, Telly’s Landscaping and Nursery will present, "What's New for 2019".

March 13 - Monthly TGC meeting.  Jim Slezinski, Senior Landscape Designer and Horticulturist, VP of Goldner Walsh Garden & Home will present, "Growing and Enjoying Tropical Plants in Your Summer Garden and Landscape".

April 10 - Monthly TGC meeting.  Mary Andrews, President of Michigan Koi and Pond Club will present, "So….You Want Koi in Your Water Garden".

April 17 - 10th Annual Daffodil Day on Belle Isle.  Click to view a copy of the registration form.

May 8 - Monthly TGC meeting.  Jillian Conrad, Indoor Garden Manager, Extraordinary Ventures Michigan will present, "Micro…what?".

June 12- Monthly TGC meeting.  The video, “Troy Garden Club’s 2018 Garden Walk Remembered” will be shown.  This is a members-only meeting to prepare for the 2019 Garden Walk.

July 10 - The TGC's 45th annual Garden Walk.  For more information, see the Garden Walk page. 

September 11 - Monthly TGC meeting.  Maureen Dunphy, Author will present, "Great Lakes Island Escapes".

October 9 - Monthly TGC meeting.  Mary Fredricks, Mycologist, Royal Oak Nature Society and Steward, Cummingston Woods will present, "Fungus Among Us:  Mushrooms in Lawns and Gardens".

November 13 - Monthly TGC meeting.  Kim and Marc Ramirez, Founders of Chickpea and Bean, Food for Life Instructors with PCRM will present, "A Message of Hope:  Focus on a Plant-Based Diet".

December 11 - Monthly TGC meeting.  The Troy High School Concert Choir with Director Adrienne Covian will lead, "A Holiday Celebration".  This is a members-only meeting and member recognition ceremony.

March 14 - Monthly TGC meeting.  Brian Allnutt, Owner/Manager at Detroit Farm and Garden will present, "Dead Wood in the Garden".

April 11 - Monthly TGC meeting.  Ron Olson, Chief, Parks and Recreation Div., DNR, State of Michigan will present, "Improving Quality of Life Through Parks and Urban Open Spaces".

April 18 - 9th Annual Daffodil Day on Belle Isle

May 9 - Monthly TGC meeting.  Rebecca Tonietto, PhD, Assistant Professor of Biology at the University of Michigan-Flint will present, "Bees of the Detroit Region:  Attracting and Recognizing Native Pollinators".

June 13 - Monthly TGC meeting.  A video of the 2017 Garden Walk Remembered will play.  This is a members-only meeting to prepare for the 2018 Garden Walk.

July 11 - The TGC's 44th annual Garden Walk 

September 12 - Monthly TGC meeting.  Karel Bush, Executive Director, Michigan Grape and Wine Industry Council will present, "Women Winemakers Making Their Mark in Michigan".

October 10 - Monthly TGC meeting.  Ed Blondin, Owner, Hortulus Gardens will present, "Witches-Wonderful to Wicked to Wonderful".

November 14 - Monthly TGC meeting.  Matthew Bertrand, NPS Program Coordinator, Friends of the Rouge will present, "Rain Gardens:  How to Make Your Gardens Look Great, Solve Problems, and Save Rivers".
